8:11am: NaNowWriMo
NaNo this year is doing good. Got over 16k words so far, but I wonder how long it's going to last. I'm drawing a lot of inspiration from Nightwish's Ghost Love Score and Amaranth (both the demo version with Marco's vocals and the official version with Annette's), and a good deal of the plot may owe its existence to Amaranth. *looks around shiftily*
But since this is for fun, and it's only the first draft anyway... things can change when it gets edited. Right now the main thing is to get the thing written. It can get cleaned up later.
Also? In Neopets, the Key game... thing... forget it's full name now, but it's really really laggy. Bad enough to freeze the three-four computers I've tried it on. -______- All the computers aren't horrible when it comes their parts - two of them have been made within the last year or so - and they still freeze. Much of it is those blasted minigames. Like the Labyrinth one. (And seriously? I'd like to know how people can get to the center of the labyrinth in 30 seconds or less. My own character can't get there in less than a two minutes, it's so laggy. Much of the time the games ends before that... because the other person gets there first.)

7:38pm: Entries from Greatest Journal
Just for the record, I'll be posting entries from GreatestJournal here over the next few days-at least some of them, like the ones about stories. Just not tonight. Too tired.

6:33pm: Knitting & crochet rambling
So, right now I've just started a triangular shawl-one that I'm knitting. It's actually easy enough, just increase at the beginning and end of every other row. I like the yarn I'm using for it, Vanna's Yarn (or something like that anyway, the manufacturer is Lion Brand).
Also finished a shawl for my paternal grandmother yesterday; the pattern was one of Lion Brand's half-moon shawls. Took me longer than I would have thought to finish it though. Need to find the digital camera so I can post pictures of it.

2:12pm: Themes

I've been playing around with the InsaneJournal themes this afternoon. :-) It's kind of fun. (Yeah, I know I'm weird.) Like the one I'm using at the moment, though there are so many other nice ones...

8:56am: Phantoms

So, time to babble about my story, Phantoms. You see, it's my Sailor Moon fanfic, only someone else is Sailor Cosmos... and it's not Chibi-Chibi. It is someone in Serena's family though-either a cousin or half-sister or both, one named Chandra. She doesn't have the blonde hair of the family... she has the black hair of her mother, and grey-green eyes. She's alone, with only her Adviser, Aranal, with her-he takes the form of an American short-hair and has enough magic that he can shape-shift to human... but not all that often. It's exhausting magic, and he uses it rarely. I think I've got a file laying around on my flash drive that I'll post either here, or on my website. (Right here is the main page...)
I need to do some drawings as well, though maybe not of the people characters yet-I'm not so good at drawing people.
I'll post the file sometime today, though. /does last day of school happy dance/

3:09pm:
So, the third chapter of the Hunt was like... around 2600 words. Shall have to get started on chapter four soon, action might start picking up around then. Someday I wanna post Phantoms, but only when I get it done and edited.

12:29pm: Okay, update on one of my stories...
...The Hunt. This is the first half of chapter three, coming in at just over four pages-I hope to get the second half done soon and then uploaded. This is a rough draft, so it'll be edited later.
